mbonafair@roxborocommunityschool.org Born and raised in Person County, Mrs. Bonafair graduated from Meredith College with a B.A. in English. She completed graduate studies at NCSU before moving to Atlanta, Georgia, where she lived for 17 years. She returned to Roxboro three years ago after marrying Tim Bonafair. Jones- Courier Talk = 7809 Beth Stultz-- bstultz@roxborocommunityschool.org is excited to join the staff at RCS. She received her Bachelor's degree in English Education from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia and her Master's of Education in reading from Averett University in Danville, Virginia. She has taught mostly middle school language arts during her eight years of teaching. "I basically just like to teach, and I truly enjoy all the ages and stages of student's development." Beth is a native of Person County and is married to J. Stultz who practices law in Roxboro. She has two children -- a boy and a girl. Teacher Paula Boston--pboston@roxborocommunityschool.org was born in Matewan, West Virginia. I graduated from Marshall University in Huntington, WV and also received my Master's degree from Marshall. Before moving to North Carolina four years ago, I taught for 28 years in various schools there. He worked at C & A and then went to UNC-Wilmington and obtained his BA in Accounting. He then obtained his Middle Grades Mathematics License as a lateral entry teacher in the Orange County Schools. Courier Talk = 7826 Bonnie Buchanan--bbuchanan@roxborocommunityschool.org grew up in Person County. She earned a BA in Language arts and Social Studies from Elon College. In 1999, she received her Master's Degree in Alternative Education from the University of West Florida. She has taught in public and private schools for 24 years. She is currently in her 30th year teaching Health & PE and she has taught students from Pre-K through 10th. Courier Talk = 7805 Gregg Hamilton--ghamilton@roxborocommunityschool.org was born on the Eastern Shore of Virginia and spent most of his years prior to High School moving between the Washington, DC and Tidewater area. He graduated from Elon college and settled in this area. He has over 15 years coaching and teaching. He has six years directing a 15 sport athletics program. Courier Talk = 7808 Beth Barlow--bbarlow@roxborocommunityschool.org is a graduate of the College of Design at North Carolina State University where she received the Most Outstanding Undergraduate Award for Visual Design. With more than 15 years of experience as a corporate and freelance graphic designer, she followed her heart from computer to easel as the art teacher at Nash Central High School in Nash County before relocating to Roxboro in 2005. Mrs. Trickey graduated from Person Senior High School and attended UNC and UNCC where she obtained her BS degree in Business Education. Courier Talk = 7815 Maryellen Kimbrough--mkimbrough@roxborocommunityschool.org Mrs. Kimbrough is a graduate of Elon College with a bachelors degree in psychology. She recently graduated summa cum laude from The School of Education at NCCU with a masters degree in school counseling. Mrs. Kimbrough has a husband David, and two sons Wyatt and Jackson. Courier Talk = 7823 Kelly Craft--kcraft@roxborocommunityschool.org graduated from Greensboro College 1986 with a BS in Special Education taught in public schools before going to private tutoring when children came along. She has two children, Ellison, a 10th grader here and Madison who is in 4th grade at Helena. Courier Talk = 7804 Cathy Kennington--ckennington@roxborocommunityschool.org graduated from UNC-G with BA in Speech Pathology, MA in Speech, Language Pathology from ASU, NC DPI Certification, national ASHA certification in Clinical Competency. Retired in 2003 from NC Public education system with 30 years experience. Rafael Rivera-- rrivera@roxborocommunityschool.org is a native of Puerto Rico. He received a BA Degree from UNC-G in 1970. His first year of teaching was in Mt. Airy, NC. He received an M.ED degree in 1974 and continued his teaching career at Person High School where he created the Spanish Exchange Program. In 2001, he moved to Salisbury and continued teaching at Salisbury High School. He has spent the last four years teaching at Albemarle High School and was selected "Teacher of the Year" for 2007 to 2008. Because of his move to RCS, he was unable to accept the award.
