PERSON COUNTY ART GUILD AND PERSON COUNTY UNITED WAY ANNOUNCES TEE-SHIRT ART CONTEST WINNERS FOR 2007

Roxboro, NC – June 1, 2007

NiTia Kennedy’s art work took top honors for the 2007

tee-shirt design.  The eighth grader at Roxboro Community

School used a graphic design using a positive and negative

space. 

 As the first place winner she received a $50 US Savings bond

provided by Neal Bowes of Allstate Insurance. 

 The second place co-winners are Ben Darr and Tylor Gill;

third place winner is Cameron Richardson and honorable

mention goes to Beth Barlow.  Beth Barlow is the art teacher

at Roxboro Community School and each of these students                         Winning Design by NaTia Kennedy

are currently taking art in her classes.
