The North Carolina League of Charter Schools announced on Friday, April 11,  that Mrs. Wanda Ball (RCS English Department Head) has been named the North Carolina Charter School Teacher of the Year.

      Roxboro Community School will value and respect each member of our school family, thus enabling everyone to become effective productive citizens.

     Roxboro Community School will provide an environment that will direct our students to focus on relevant and rigorous learning that will continue after high school

Roxboro Community School

RCS will have 80 slots per grade level available in grades six through 12

• At full enrollment, RCS will be able to serve 520 students

• The student-teacher ratio a goal of no more than 1 to 20

• Charter schools charge no tuition

• Charter schools must adhere to the same standards as a traditional public school
