The goal of RCS Athletics is to offer student athletes the opportunity to participate at a competitive level with schools of similar size and teams of similar ability. Student Athletes are representatives of RCS at all times, home and away and are held to some of the highest standards of conduct and academics in the state.

Roxboro Community School offers a wide variety of athletics at both the Middle School and High School level. Middle School teams are for student athletes in grades 7 and 8. High school athletics covers grades 9 thru 12.

Our Middle School teams are members of the Triangle Independent Conference (TIC). The teams in our conference are the Voyager Academy "Vikings", Carolina Friends School "Quakers", Triangle Day School "Tornados", Vance Charter School "Knights", Montessori School of Raleigh "Miners" and your RCS "Bulldogs".

We are members of the (NCHSAA) North Carolina High School Athletic Association and compete as an Independent Class 1A High School. As such, we are also eligible to compete for state championships.

All sports are coached by volunteers and transportation to games is provided thru car pools.

Any game day decisions on cancellation will be made after 1:00 pm.

Sports schedules will be added to this site beginning Fall 2009.
