Representatives from the Roxboro Rotary Club will be here to share information about programs and services that Rotary International offers for high school students. Please remember that $5 membership dues need to be paid by October 14.
There will be an RCS in Spain Parent/Student meeting on Thursday, September 12, at 5:30 p.m., in the Multipurpose Room for students interested in learning more about this exciting opportunity!

High School Sweethearts Tie the Knot
Molly Tatum (Class of 2013) and Ben Townsend (Class of 2014) dated while they were students at RCS. On August 31, the high school sweethearts were married in Durham. Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Townsend!

Bulldog Day Raffle Tickets for Sale Now!
The first SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions) meeting will be on Monday, September 16, at 3 p.m. in Mrs. Roberts' room, 106.BOTH middle school and high school students are invited to attend. We will discuss plans for the year and our fall conference.
FFA will have the first meeting of the school year tomorrow, September 4, from 3 to 3:30, in Mrs. Clayton's room, 402. We will discuss officers, dues, t-shirts, and activities for the 2019-2020 school year. FFA is open to High School and Middle School students.
Students who will be 15 by April 15, 2020 are invited to attend drivers' ed book work classes October 14-24, 3 to 5:30 p.m., Monday-Friday, in the dining hall. Cost is $65. Pencil and pape required FIRST day. Sign up with Mrs Graham at the front desk, or call RCS.

Mrs. Christa Jones, RCS sixth grade language arts teacher, got a nice surprise today, when the Person County Education Foundation dropped by to give her a Teacher Supply Basket. Jones was nominated for the gift during last weekend’s Personality Festival.
