Some of our teachers and a few students are off to spend a few days at The Ron Clark Academy in Atlanta! They will be participating in professional development workshops and observing the teachers at the academy!
RCS Sr. Beta Club hosted a small pickleball tournament for their members to celebrate National Beta Week this past Saturday!
It's time for Dance for Change! Join us for an amazing show on Friday, March 20 at 7:00 in the RCS multipurpose room!
This year, dancers will be raising money for Duke Children's Hospital and Ronald McDonald House.
A new addition to this year's show is the staff dance competition! In addition to our dance students, RCS staff members have joined forces with dancers to dance for their favorite causes. Audience members can vote with monetary donations for their favorite staff routine or cause and the winner takes all for their designated cause.
Make a donation for admission and bring some change or some cash to vote for your favorite staff dance!

We are once again partnering with Lotterease to offer an online application/enrollment process. The link to submit an application is on the Enrollment Page of our website (https://www.roxborocs.org/page/enrollment). We will be accepting applications for the 2026-2027 until March 3, 2026. If we have more applications than openings, we will hold an online lottery on March 5, 2026. Please help us spread the word to friends, family, and neighbors with children who will be in 6th-12th grade next year.

* Students who are currently attending Roxboro Community School DO NOT need to re-apply to attend next school year.
* Siblings of current students or alumni DO need to complete an application to attend RCS next year.
They are given preference in the lottery because they are the sibling** of a current student or alumni. [**"Sibling" includes brothers or sisters, half-siblings, step-siblings, or foster siblings living in the same household.]

Our High School Band is joining with the Person Tradition Concert Band for a joint concert this Tuesday, March 3 at 6:30 pm in the MPR! Come out and hear the music these bands have been working so hard on this year!
