RCS Spirit Week is next week, March 20-24. Let's show our Bulldog pride!! For $1 a day, students are allowed to dress in the daily theme. (See RCS Communications email for details.) All proceeds go toward Prom.
Both RCS and Person High School need volunteers to help with Reality Store, an important project that teaches students vital life skills. The RCS Reality Store is scheduled for March 24, in the Multipurpose room. The link to sign up is below. Volunteers should arrive by 8 am and check in at the front desk.

Today's High School Journalism Club meeting has been rescheduled for next Wednesday, March 22, immediately after school in room 220.
There will not be a middle school lacrosse game today. The team will practice immediately after school, at RCS.
Friday, March 17 will be a Jeans Day. The $2 donation will support the 12th Grade Field Trip.
Anna Helms, a sonographer at Durham Diagnostic Imaging, spoke to Biotech Health Science students today. Students learned about educational requirements, career opportunities and viewed various ultrasound images.
Roxboro Community School's Board of Directors will have a vacancy beginning in July. The Board of Directors sets policy for the school and works with the Managing Executive Director, who is responsible for day-to-day operations. Roxboro Community School is extremely pleased to announce that, beginning July 1, 2023, Mr. Darkarai Bryant will succeed the retiring Mr. Dave Ebert as Managing Executive Director. The RCS Board of Directors voted last night to approve the transition. Mr. Bryant has led the RCS high school since 2014, after serving as a teacher, assistant principal and principal in Person County Schools.
Eighth graders enjoyed having a virtual guest speaker this morning who talked about investing and careers in wealth management. Thank you, Virginia Clay from Morgan Stanley Wealth Management.

Varsity softball and soccer and middle school baseball and softball games are canceled for today. Middle school baseball will practice in the gym from 3:30 to 4:30 pm.
