Bulldog Blooms will meet immediately after school on Wednesday, March 2 and go to Optimist Park, the Home of Bulldog Baseball! Baseball season opens Friday, March 4. We need to spread pine needles around the azaleas, pull weeds and fertilize the azaleas. If everyone is able to help, we should be done by 4 pm. Please drop by Mrs. Jill Clayton's Room, 403 today or tomorrow to pick up a permission slip. Mrs. Clayton needs to know how many members will be able to help and their transportation option.


Roxboro Community School ended its formal enrollment period for the 2022-2023 school year on February 25, 2022. Based on the number of returning students and the number of applications received for potential new students, it has been determined that RCS will be at capacity enrollment next year. A lottery will not be needed. All applications received as of February 25, 2022 have been admitted for enrollment. Enrollment procedures will be communicated to all admitted applicants by RCS Registrar Jodi DeVillier. Applications received after February 25 will be added to a wait list.


Friday, March 4 is a Jeans Day. The $2 donation will support RCS in Spain.

Drama Club presents The Trial of The Big Bad Wolf. If you would like to audition, please attend one of the following audition meetings, Tuesday, February 22 in the MPR from 3 to 4 pm and Thursday, February 24 in the MPR from 3 to 4. We will have open auditions on Friday for those students who can not make it Tuesday and Thursday. This is for Drama Club students and non-Drama Club students.

These questions and more will be answered February 17 at the RCS Curriculum Night. Rising ninth graders are highly encouraged to attend, but rising 10th -12th graders are welcome as well. This is also a great opportunity to meet the high school staff.

The RCS Variety Show will be Friday, February 18 and Saturday, February 19, at 7 pm in the MPR. Come out and enjoy watching talented Bulldogs! Tickets are $5 at the door. Face masks required.
