RCS high school math teacher Jason Bell recently received a grant from Walmart Giving, in conjunction with the Roxboro Walmart, to purchase a 3-D printer. Bell is teaching game design this year, and the printer will be used in that course. He said he was grateful for the generosity of Walmart Giving and that he “can’t wait to use the printer in game design.” #bulldogproud #WalmartGiving #Walmart

Middle School Student Council will have a huge holiday bake sale Tuesday and Wednesday of this week. Please bring money and be ready to purchase goodies!


The second girls' middle school soccer workout will be on Friday, December 10 at Huck Sansbury from 3:30 until 5:30 pm. Please bring water and shin guards.


Reminder: Roxboro Community School Indoor Sports--Basketball Games Face Masks Requirements
MASKS are optional for the 10 active basketball players on the court and referees during the game. MASKS are optional for all basketball players during their warmups.
MASKS are mandatory for ALL spectators, game personnel, coaches and players on the bench at ALL times.
MASKS are optional for cheerleaders while they are cheering, but cheerleaders must mask up while not cheering.

The RCS Holiday Spectacular will be Wednesday, December 8 at 7 pm. Dancers, actors, Mrs. Bailey and Mr. Storrs will perform on stage in the multipurpose room. Admission price is a can of food. Bring cash to purchase RCS student artwork. Masks required for audience members. All food will be donated to the Christian Help Center.


Friday, December 10 is a Jeans Day. The $2 donation will benefit the 10th Grade Field Trip.

Roxboro Community School's Open Enrollment for the 2022-2023 school year is January 3 - February 25, 2022. Applications will be available at www.roxborocs.org. A Prospective Student-Parent Information Night will be held Thursday, January 6, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. Dog Walk Tours will be conducted Tuesday, January 11 and Thursday, January 13. Parents must sign up for these tours. Private tours will also be available. More information coming soon.


Krispy Kreme Doughnut Orders will be delivered tomorrow morning, December 3, around 7:30 am. Individual doughnuts will be on sale for $1 each.
If you pre-ordered doughnuts, please pick them up from the lobby by the multipurpose room before school.
If you ordered doughnuts but still have not paid for them, please bring money ASAP to room 206 (Profe).


Jingle on Main is tomorrow, Thursday, December 2. Main Street from Long Memorial to Roxboro Baptist Church will close at 4:30 pm for set up. Be advised if you are planning to attend tomorrow's basketball games.


Due to the home high school basketball games today, there will be NO middle school boys' basketball practice today, Tuesday, November 30.


Tomorrow, Wednesday, December 1 is a Remote Learning Day. Students should not come to the building for classes. Individual teachers will issue assignments.

There will be a Moderna booster and Pfizer pediatric clinic on 12/9 for Covid vaccines. The Moderna booster is available to anyone 18+ who meets the 6 or 2 month requirement. (See announcement). Schedule (for 5-11) on the portal or call Person County Health Department.
