In the interest of safety, please be aware when traveling on Depot Street that students cross the street at the city parking lot, near the corner of Depot and Foushee. Please watch your speed and be aware of foot traffic. Also, remember that THIS IS NOT A DROP OFF ZONE, and do not stop on the street to let students out of your vehicle.

Middle school girls' basketball will practice at Helena today from 3:30 to 4:30 pm and middle school boys' basketball will practice at Helena today from 4:30 to 5:30.

As a reminder, RCS is offering online enrollment this year. Enrollment began on October 3 and will continue until February 24. Applications and more information are available online at https://www.roxborocs.org/page/enrollment.

The next Driver Education book work class will begin on January 17, 2023. Sign-ups will begin in mid-December. Remember, RCS students must go to the Person County Schools Central Office, at 304 S. Morgan Street, to pay the $65 fee.

For Bulldogs Care Day last week, Mrs. Snow's students visited Personal County Animal Services and met some of the dogs that are available for adoption. #bulldogproud

Friday, November 18 will be a Jeans Day. The $2 donation will benefit Club Adoptions.

Surprise treats rolled through the hallways this morning for our teachers!

We would like to thank everyone who donated Halloween candy to the 7th Grade Military/ First Responder Community Service group. We collected over 150 pounds of candy that was bagged separately and delivered to the Person County Sheriff's Department and Roxboro Police Station. Deliveries to several of our Fire Departments will continue today. This is what community service is all about. #bulldogproud




This week was dedicated to appreciating our fantastic dining hall staff and volunteers, including trays of goodies. And PTSO brought goodies from Madison Marketplace.


RCS will be closed tomorrow, Friday, November 11 in observance of Veterans Day. Classes will resume on Monday, November 14.

Our high school faculty and staff gave our Bulldog Café staff gift baskets today filled with some of their favorite things!

RCS seventh graders donated treats to make a “Woot Woot Wednesday Wagon” for staff at Woodland Elementary School for Bulldogs Care Day. They also worked with second grade students on “Place Value Turkeys.” #bulldogproud

Middle School Mathcounts Club will meet Wednesday, November 16, 3 - 3:45 pm, in room 125.

For Bulldogs Care Day today, eighth grade students in Mrs. Roberts' class made patterns, traced fabric and cut out fabric for mastectomy pillows and port pillows. So far, middle school is winning the canned food drive, 305 to 75. Come on, high school, you can catch up! The collection benefits the Christian Help Center.
