Ms. Elizabeth Townsend presented RCS with a donation to support our Bulldogs Care Day program on behalf of Duke Energy today. Our Bulldogs Care Days allow our students to see the importance of giving back, something that is also important to Duke Energy. This donation is greatly appreciated and serves a great purpose in supporting RCS's service learning opportunities that our students take part in.

Do you have questions or need help starting a conversation with your child about the dangers of substance use? Parental involvement and education are crucial when it comes to preventing substance use among our youth. Person County School invites you to an experience that will provide parents with the tools they need to take a proactive approach in discussing the dangers of substance use with their children, as well as recognizing signs of risky behavior. Preventing substance use starts at home. Don't miss the opportunity to gain this vital knowledge!
This event will be on March 27, 2025 from 6-7 p.m. at Harris Fellowship Hall in Long Memorial United Methodist Church. Childcare will be provided on site.

Roxboro Community School Open Enrollment for the 2025-2026 school year ends tonight! We are once again partnering with Lotterease to offer an online application/enrollment process. The link to submit an application is on the Enrollment page of our school website (https://www.roxborocs.org/page/enrollment). The lottery will be on Thursday, March 6 at 4:30 p.m.
A few important reminders:
* Students who are currently attending Roxboro Community School DO NOT need to re-apply to attend next school year.
* Siblings of current students or alumni DO need to complete an application to attend RCS next year. They are given preference in the lottery because they are the sibling** of a current student or alumni. But they DO have to apply by the March 4, 2025 deadline or the Lotterease computer system will automatically place them on a waiting list. [**"Sibling" includes brothers or sisters, half-siblings, step-siblings, or foster siblings living in the same household.]
* Paper copies of the 2025-2026 application are available for anyone who does not have internet or computer access
Please visit the Enrollment page on our website(https://www.roxborocs.org/page/enrollment) for more information, or contact RCS Registrar, Jodi DeVillier, at 336.597.0020, ext 322 or devillierjh@roxborocs.org if you have questions or concerns.
